Perfect Air Fryer Korean Fried Chicken

This air fryer Korean fried chicken is super delicious. The chicken is crispy and coated in a spicy, sticky gochujang sauce.

Toss the chicken in cornstarch, salt and a little baking powder and place in the air fryer basket.

The chicken will first be cooked at a low temperature for 15 minutes to render the fat.

Then turn the air fryer up to 400F/200C and cook for a further 10 minutes until crispy.

While the chicken is cooking mix the sauce. It has gochujang paste, garlic, ginger, honey, ketchup and soy.

Mix it all together until well combined.

When the chicken has finished cooking, add to a bowl and tip over the sauce.

 Once all the pieces are coated, sprinkle on sesame seeds and green onions.
